Background

In 2013, BeBo (the Swedish Energy Agency's commissioning group for energy-efficient apartment buildings) launched a study to investigate means of sealing ventilation leaks in apartment buildings. Linervent already had requests from municipal companies as to whether it would be possible to develop a product for relining ventilation in particular. In response to this, Linervent was started in 2014.

Linervent has since developed its material and a first pilot project was carried out in Västerås in 2014. The Linervent method is trademarked and granted a European patent.
